Let me tell you my story! We had just purchased our first brand new car. What's the number one priority? INSURANCE(can't leave the lot without it)!! We were young and my husband had some run in with deer running out on the road(we are from the south). So, we were going to pay an arm and a leg. Must have called 20 places. *We had to have FULL coverage* Progressive had given us a great offer,they faxed the cards to the dealer. Very friendly customer service!! But, when we got the cards it was only liability! So, I called back only to speak with someone not so nice.
We got it changed "NO, this will not affect your down payment. Cancel anytime,as long as you are paid up to date." No problems until we tried to cancel!! Cue the music "dum,dum,dum"! They were very rude saying just because they messed up the initial policy we would have an additional $130 to pay. We refused and they threatened us with ugly repercussions! VERY RUDE and in my opinion VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
