I was not a customer of State Farm when I was involved in a car accident with one of their clients who hit my parked car going 55 mph. They have fought my claim since DAY 1 telling me that I was responsible for part of the accident. It didn't take me more than 4 days to figure out that I would need an AWESOME attorney to take them on. My attorney was very familiar with State Farm and their tactics when handling claims. It took them 8 months to complete their "thorough investigation" and eventually pay the damages for my car. It has also taken that long for me to recover physically from the injuries I suffered in the accident. For anyone who has been involved in a bad car accident, you are traumatized enough from that experience. No one should have to be further traumatized by the extremely rude claims people that work at State Farm. If they don't want to work there and do that job, then there are plenty of people that are out of work right now and, I'm sure,would be willing to take their place! I would have NEVER sued anyone before this incident, but now I'm grateful that the system was in place.
