Terrible and completely unresponsive

Pros: They are good at cashing your checks.

Cons: Unresponsive, gives you the run around.

I had homeowner's insurance with Traveler's. I had a small kitchen fire recently and had to file a claim. The agent came out promptly to inspect the damage and verbally promised to cover all damages. A dozen phone calls and e-mail messages and a month later, they still have not confirmed anything. My agent does not return my phone calls or e-mails.
I will be canceling my insurance policy with Traveler's and I highly discourage anyone from doing business with this company. A quick Google search for feedback on Traveler's Insurance confirmed that majority of their customers give them negative feedback and do not intend to renew their policy.
