We have been insuring automobiles for over 25 years, and now have 3 vehicles in the family. USAA, after both trial and error and research, has turned out to be the most reasonably priced, the most responsive, and the most attentive for customer service. Although my husband was military, which is how we were able to qualify for both auto and life insurance, I believe that others can also join.
We got a small check today (under $50) for a rebate which is given a couple of times a year, and they sent us new information about their good student discount for young drivers on our policy.
I wish we could use USAA for all of our insurance needs. We wasted an awful lot of money on previous policies that were good, but unnecessarily expensive. Life insurance was the biggest waste of money for us, and I was grateful when a friend and I were talking about high insurance rates and she suggested USAA.
