Pros: the best prices you can find for just starting out in the military
Cons: none so far
The Bottom Line: USAA is great for any military member, i've told friends in my husbands unit about it, and they were shocked at the price difference

I've had USAA for almost 2 years now. They are by FAR the best insurance I have ever had. My parents are retired military and when my husband joined the army they told me about this GREAT company that could save us hundreds. I didn't think they were serious until we financed our first car. Due to a hurricane off the Florida coast the only insurance my husband and I could get was Progressive. They quoted us with full coverage at $368 per month. Now we are 21, married and military. We have no accidents or problems of any kind. I about hit the ground, the insurance was more then our car payment! I called USAA when we got home, they quoted me for the same car, at 135!!!! They have been the best ever since, we have our renters insurance with them as well, only 5 dollars a month. I called them today actually because my husband has his orders for Iraq, they set us up so nice. we've got a 6 month policy for 183 for my husbands car!! A 6 MONTH POLICY!! thats unreal! Yes it is because he won't be driving it, but still you can't get that anywhere else. I will always be an USAA customer as long as my husband is in the army.
