Wawanesa will treat you HORRIBLY once you need them

Pros: nothing
Cons: REALLY LOUSY customer service once you get into an accident.
The Bottom Line: DO NOT GET WAWANESA, my experience is that they treat their customers poorly once they file a claim.

Wawanesa is bad. I can speak from experience, I have filed a claim with them.
Yes, wawanesa is cheap BUT BELIEVE ME, YOU WILL REGRET HAVING THEM AS YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO AN ACCIDENT.
I was in a very minor accident, the accident was not my fault.
The wawanesa adjustor:
- Took 2 days to call me back after I reported the accident to an operator.
- Is rude and speaks to you as if you are a con artist.
- Questions the medical treatment and complains about getting "too many bills" from my doctor.
- Says that my accident was "just a minor accident"
- Hangs up on me
- Asks me how come I'm still going to the doctor??
- Tells me that Wawanesa is questioning my injuries
- Tells me that there is no guarantee wawanesa will pay for all of my medical bills.
The list goes on but you get the picture.
I don't wish this on anybody. When you get in an accident and particularly when it is not your fault you expect someone to treat you with respect and be concerned about your medical progress and not treat you like a con artist that they have to police.
My old insurance company treated me just fine when I reported a claim to them.
You'll be wise to STAY AWAY from WAWANESA.
