I have used Turbo tax for the Web for three years now and I am quite impressed at its simplicity, accuracy and speed.
I was very hesitant the first time I used Turbo Tax 3 years ago but now I would not do my taxes any other way. You are taken step by step through the process which leaves very little room for errors and you have the ability to make changes as you proceed. One of the the excellent features is that any information you enter is saved even if you get "booted " off turbo tax (which has only happened to me once in three years) or your ISP decides to boot you.
Turbo Tax even figures which schedules and forms are going to be used based on your answers to simply put questions and they enter the information in the correct places for you so there is no guess work as to where to enter various information. If at anytime you have a question or don't understand something all that needs to be done is to click on the word "question" and up pops the answers. You can even do a search by typing in the keyword (for example...interest, education expenses, income...etc) on the pop up box that appears as you proceed from page to page.
As you proceed you can always go back to any page that you want to review or change by clicking on the word "Index" at the bottom of every page you are on. One great feature is that on the top right side of the page you are shown how much your refund or amount you owe is based upon the information that you have entered thus far. This amount changes as you enter additional information.
You can also exit Turbo Tax and come back at a later time to do some more work on it. They will bring you back to where you left off during the previous session. All information is stored on their secure server which allows you to pick up your work on any computer with internet access.
There are a few different "packages" as to what this will cost you. To make matters simple I am listing the URL's of the various links to the packages. I am listing only the costs associated with the Federal Taxes even thought when you go to one of these links they will show you the cost of the state taxes if you want them to figure them for you also. (I advise doing your state taxes also on Turbo Tax.

I suggest you try the above link if you are not filing a "free" return. It seems to work for anyone.
All of the above prices include electronic filing!
You are even given the option to print a copy for your records (Highly advisable), and to save your return to your own computer. In order to use this feature you need Acrobat Reader, to which they give you the option to download it from their site as you proceed.
You are not charged to try out Turbo Tax and even use all the features associated with it until you want to transmit it to the IRS. They will even allow you to print out a working copy before you decide to pay for it.
