Pros: Most of the staff have nice attitudes, they seem to be trying to serve.
Cons: Policies cost you money when you don't have enough cash at the moment.

I find their policies to be marginally unfair, but not too far removed from any other bank. It is just that they claim to care about the "members" but they do the same little "gotchas" to rake in fees, penalties, etc., as any bank does. It irks me the way they try to make themselves out to be better than that. Take for example the way money is taken out right at the moment a debit card or check hits them, it can cause you to be overdrawn and they hit you with fees. At most banks, they at least wait until the end of the day before deducting debits, so you have time to get to a branch to add money to your account. But this is not allowed at EFCU, because they like to penalize you with all of these fees. It is how they make money!
They don't have enough tellers at their drive up locations on the first and fifteenth when it is not uncommon to find 30 cars waiting in line, wasting expensive gas and time!
