If you have a tattoo chances are you see things like this and snicker and say "poser" under your breath. Sadly, these are good sellers and something that people are willing to spend a lot of money on. Hot Topic sells these, do I need to say anything more?
You are only getting five tattoos on the sheet, they are of decent size but they are pretty hokey. The vampire lips and fangs is probably the worst because it comes off blurry on the skin; the vampire bite marks turns out the best if you adhere it the correct way and have a lighter skin color. If you have a tan you are going to be able to see the bite marks and blood but not the reddish background to it. The eternity symbol is one that is probably going to be overlooked the meaning if it because they won't know what it is or what the symbol means. I'm torn about the black winged heart, it had the potential to look great but because of the length of it there is a huge chance of it getting blurred if it is not applied correctly. The ahnk is decent but it should have been done in all black or black and gray instead of having a red center.
The pack says that it is for those fourteen and older; that's just a suggestion. These are temporary so its not like they are something that is stuck there for weeks or even days. If you have tweens or teens that are in to the whole Twilight epidemic then these are a nice find for a couple dollars but most places are selling them for about four dollars a pack, for what you are getting that is a little on the high side when you consider the number of tattoos and their overall quality. They are sold on a card but it doesn't really protect them from getting bent or folded so if you are thinking about ordering them online for a discounted price you might end up with something that is going to look horrible when you go to apply them.
To apply these, all you have to do is cut out the design you want to apply and line it up on the skin. It helps to have a hair-free area to put it on and the skin has to be clean and dry. Place the cut out tattoo design on the skin and press a slightly moist paper towel on it. You are going to want to press on the area for about twenty seconds but not hard or you could end up with the tattoo sliding around a little before it completely releases from the backing paper on to the skin. Remove the backing piece slowly, if there are any areas that are still stuck on the paper you can press it back on to the skin but there is a good chance that you are going to end up with it not lining up correctly. You only get one shot; if you peel it off and it's not ready chances are it is going to be screwed up beyond repair. You are only getting one sheet in the pack so you are going to want to make sure you are applying it right. You can have someone apply it for you if you want it on your shoulder or leg just don't think you are going to be able to hold it in place and peel it off to peek at it.
If you can find these for a couple dollars they are nice for Halloween but the designs aren't worth more than that. They can last a couple of days if you don't scratch them or get any soap on them but I wouldn't recommend you put them on in the afternoon if you are thinking about sporting them all night long. To remove them you can wash them off with soap, water and a loofah or use some baby oil. Some parents object to temporary tattoos so if you are having a tween or teen party and they are going to be putting these on, you might want to make sure that the younger kids are allowed to wear them. To me it isn't a big deal but I have seen some parents completely lose it when they see their kids wearing them.
