N64 controllers-good or bad?
Written: Nov 30, 2001
Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Perfectly crafted for all hand sizes.
Cons:Difficult to use for the first few times.
The Bottom Line: It fits perfectly in all sized hands and doesn't make your hands ache- perfectly designed.
Nintendo seem to have sorted it out-the original NES controller, when used by people with larger hands gave awfull blisters or sores under the middle finger.
The SNES was an improvement but every now and again you have to let go and massage your hands together.
But now Nintendo have crafted a beautifully crafted controller that is comfortable for all sized hands.
Ergonomicaly designed to fit perfectly in the hand it is ideal for "shoot'em up games"and basically every other genre of game-if you consider that flight sims or combat sims are pretty useless without joysticks, the N64 controller has a solution-the cool little thumb joystick rotates 360 degrees and was definatley well thought of.
A brilliant controller at a reasonable price.
