roycetrade's Full Review: Nintendo Game Boy Advance Console
The gameboy advance was a very exciting system. I could tell that it was built so that it could be a portable SNES. The number of snes ported games for it concludes my theory. It has a good design and is simple yet powerful. The system is simple and runs on a couple AA batteries. It does not require an AC adapter or anything else. You just pop the games in and go. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and the on off operation is siple for quick gaming. The games show up well and it is very fun to play. I cant imagine buying one right now because the DS has gone down in price so much. But if you do not want to spend the $100, a advance can be had for under $50. Thats a great price to have some good portable games. The Mario worlds, F zero extra. It can be good for nostalgic gaming for older people. I sold my system when I bought the Nintendo DS because it can play the advance games. At this point I would advise you get the DS because there are so many more and exciting games to play, but as a system for its time, the advance was very impressive.
