dkoepke49's Full Review: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver for Dreamcast
Maybe it is because this is not the genre of game that I like, but I decided to give it a try seeing almost all DC games are very cheap.
The game sat in my room for about 5 months, unopened, and I finally decided to give it a try. I don't play too much DC and when I do, it is NFL 2K1, so I figured I would at least give it a chance, seeing I got it for christmas.
The game seems to have a decent plot, but I basically struggled to get some sort of enjoyment out of it. Granted, I only played it for about 2-3 hours, but I am not sure I will go back, even though I saved my game.
The controls are decent, as everything you need is right there, but I thought it was difficult at certain points because of the camera views. But I think most 3rd person games have this sort of problem. The graphics are ok, but obviously nothing special seeing it is an older system.
If you see it around and for under $20, you might as well get it, if you are planning on keeping your DC. If not, I wouldn't bother with it.
