midknightrydr's Full Review: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver for Dreamcast
I found the storyline to be very interesting and near original. The graphics are nothing to shake a stick at, very good graphics. The camera angles as you maneuver Raziel throughout the caverns and catacombs is very well done, you get occasional clipping, but this won't really bother you unless you are a perfectionist. The gameplay and controls are excellent, very fluid and seldom lags. There are a few parts where in fact it does lag a bit, but again, just nit picking. The only thing I really found disappointing about the game is it gets quite repetitive and tedious later on in the game, feels like you're just playing it to beat it. I wouldn't say it has a good replay value, it will probably collect dust after you beat it. In the nutshell, makes a good rental, probably not worth dishing out $50 for this one.
