Pros: Very good voice rec,graphics are great, and how it knows a ton of words.

Cons: Odd controls, takes a while to play.

The Bottom Line: It won't stay your favorite game for long, and it requires a lot of attention, but it's a fun game. Rent it if possible.

I believe that Seaman is for people that have patience. No, you don't turn it on and it talks to you, it's more then that. You have to take care of the fish and help it evolve. When you first start the game, you have to take care of the egg. When it hatches, you have to help the larvae evolve, eventually, it will have a large vocabulary. It takes days to do this. And the clock is ticking even when your Dreamcast is off. As for the microphone feature, it's very good. It understands what you say very well, and rarely picks up background noises. Overall, this is like buying a real pet, and it's your decision.
