indolupus's Full Review: Star Wars Episode 1 Jedi Power for Dreamcast
I first purchased this game a while ago while I was into the whole Episode 1 thing. My cousin and I played this game for about 1 day, and then I pretty much never came back. If you're looking for a one-hit wonder, here's your game.
Graphics - You must remember this is PSX. Still, the graphics in this are quite bad, with glitches everywhere, square figures, etc. Even the level graphics lack accuracy. I didn't know graphics could be this bad. 2/5
GamePlay - This is one of the games few good points. You can choose from among 5 initial characters, and later on more hidden ones. There are two difficulty levels, and 10 stages, along with 4 hidden ones. You can also choose single player or multiplayer. This game basically offers a lot of options. There are "force power" moves, 3 per character, that add variety to the game. There are weapons that each character can use. There are even lightsabre combinations that can be earned after playing through a level. The only thing is that once you beat the game, there's not much left. Sadly, this game has not versus multiplayer. That would have added a great aspect to the game, but I can only wish. Enemy's strategy's are also very predictable, and because each time the game is played it is the same, there isn't much fun in it. 3/5
Sound - Horrible. Enough said. 2/5
Multiplay - This aspect of the game is not even good. The co-op aspect of the game should be good, but it's not. When playing with two characters, the same number of credits are given as if playing with one character. Also, the game becomes less challenging. The worst part of co-op is that, if you have a bad partner, he can kill himself, or even worse, you.
