I am glad I didn’t personally purchase this game and that I received it as a gift. I feel its utter crap compared to other games in the 2k2 series such as NFL and NBA.
Were to start....Well the only good thing that I can think of is the Online play. To bad that it sucks. You can only control your fielders and pitch type and when to swing in this game. On top of that you cant type to your opponents during a game and the choice of colors in the lobby stinks and makes it hard to read.
The animations are poorly done and look fake. If a runner is running towards the outfield and the pitch is behind him he doesn’t catch it running backwards. Most plays end up like this. Also the ball can be 10 feet above the fielder and the fielder will amazingly grab the ball.
The commentator’s speeches are repetitive and boring to listen to. The graphics aren’t on par with other 2k games such as NBA and NFL.
Final Thoughts: Dreamcast owners who want a baseball game get this its the best baseball game for the Dreamcast on the market even though it sucks.
