smashed309's Full Review: Worms Armageddon for Dreamcast
Certainly one of the coolest games on the PC, Worms Armageddon has finally made its way to the Dreamcast. It sports a slew of weapons, missions, and hours of death-match fun!
It all starts with some basic training for your team of 4 worms. From there you can access the 30+ missions, which all though not too involving, still keep you playing. However, the computer worms are always either ridiculously bad shots or unrealisticly accurate ones, making it a little frustrating. As you progress through the missions, your team gains more advanced an destructive weaponry.
If you tire of playing against the computer, then just invite some friends (or enemies) over for an all-night explosion-filled rock 'em sock 'em fun-fest in which luck and skill are both necessary to win. However, this is where some of the problems come in. Because the game uses Windows CE to operate, there is some serious frame-rate slow-down in places.
The best thing about the game, though, is the large amount of weapons at your disposal. Ranging from the Bazooka to the priceless Ming Vase, the weapons will keep you playing more than anything else.
Over all the game is a good buy.
