BONECRUSHER's Full Review: Worms Armageddon for Dreamcast
I've played this game for both the playstation and dreamcast...
Here's what i have to say about it...
It's a clone of one of my favourite games on the pc called scorched earth.. you blow up other people on the screen with different weapons firing at different angles... it may be fun multiplayer but i don't think you want to waste your money on this game if you got it for playstation.. since it's the same game..
Now onto the review....
There's good and there's bad.. one team is good the other is bad..
you could consider this game a cartoon graphical war with chipmunk voices screaming and making horrible comments as you die..
Graphics- This game looks like something that came out of a super nintendo or a playstation.. nothing great... nothing to run out and sell the farm for.. this is nothing compared to the 3d world of rayman or sonic or any other dreamcast game out there.. even hard core heat has better graphics then this.... it's sheer atari to my tastes
Control- pick your weapon .. pick your angle press fire and hope for the best.. anyone can do this.. its just the physics of your shot and power..
Sound- Chipmunk voices.. weird music that was stolen from the video game lemmings.. is this what you wanted?
Fun- Well this game can be fun if you like killing worms.. personally i have more fun stepping on them when they crawl out onto the sidewalk after a good thunderstorm.. it's a fun game with 3-4 players cause you can trash talk and destroy each other or team up.. but the computer is boring and really cheap!
Would i buy this game??
No.. i would not pay 69.99$ canadian for this game.. I would rather give a homeless man the money for a new set of teeth!
I don't even think you should rent this game if your going home to play by yourself.. now if you want to settle a war with someone then go ahead and get this game but other then that.. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM IT...
I would rather be lost in the dark playing expendable or listening to the dialogue of blue stinger.. just trust me.. i would not get this game..
i would rather have wwf attitude or ecw hardcore then this game...
