heleine's Full Review: Worms Armageddon for Dreamcast
Worms is one of those games that when you first see it you start to cry because you think you just wasted 50 bucks. Well this game turned those tears to eye crusties after days of playings.
This has to be one of the most addictive games I have ever played. When me and my friends started playing we just try to bazooka each other to death till we found out the finer points of the game. We started to learn to move and use the wind. We progressed into skilled killers. We played for hours on end. I even got my girlfriend into the fights. She really enjoyed killing me.
The skills missions are fairly difficult. It took several days to beat some of the mission. They definatly were not as fun as the multiplayer but kept you playing while everyone was away.
I would say Worms is one of the better games released for the Dreamcast. I know its was originally on the PC I believe, but the transition to the dreamcast with all the crazy voices and weapons allows for months of replay value. Its a definite buy.
