| Volcomgal's Full Review: Worms Armageddon for Dreamcast |
Hmmm... Worms Armageddon... An interesting and unique game. That's about all I have for the positives. As this game's horrid learning curve will have you getting mad and throwing controllers before you're done with it. Don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE strategy games, but this one is utterly a paradox. This game with it's unique features and all.... Really never gives you a chance to like it. As a 1-player game it is terrible. First, you must complete training missions which are harder than a steel vault at the pentagon. If these training missions are anything to try and get you into the game. Hasbro should think again. I've played some of their other games like X-COM (Which is another frustrating one...) and others.
This game is not even fun 1-player. The missions are an abomination. Ranging from the ridiculous to the utterly brainless. 2-player, I would assume would be more fun, but I didn't want to take a chance on this game. I took it back immediately to the EB around where I live. I kept hearing the horrible sound voices from this game being played back over and over to me in my head. The voices are REALLY ANNOYING! Thank goodness they have a 10-day return policy! So the bottom line is, unless you have the patience of a monk..... You shouldn't buy this game. Unless you've played the PC versions and are used to this game. So my friend John tells me......
