Wrapguy's Full Review: All-Star Baseball 1999 for Game Boy Color
Nintendo's All-Star Baseball 2000 is a very cool game. It's amazing how far Game Boy has come. If this game had come out one year ago, it wouldn't have been in color. Without color, it would not be that great, but with, it sure is a game to have.
ASB 2000 has many different playing modes including exubition game, season, playoffs, All-Star Game, Home Run Derby, and even Batting Practice mode. In addition, it has a short game mode where there is only 1 strike per batter. This can be a nice function after the game starts getting a little old.
Also, you are given a code after games in a season, so that you can continue playing at another time. Although the graphics are not all that spectacular, the game is still great. It only works with Game Boy Color, so buyer beware. However, This game is sure something not to miss out on!
Get ready to go to a ball game, or rather to play a ball game! For it's one, two, three strikes--you're out in All-Star Baseball 2001 for the Game Boy...More at GameQuest Direct. com
