The Bottom Line: Overall it is a great game and portable. Sure it doesnt meet up to the greatness of a non-portable console, but it is still very enjoyable.

The graphics are awesome and very detailed. I found that the course graphics have lighter colors to them and are very defined three dimensional shapes all put together to make the courses. Some extra choices are on some of the courses you can do little extra things like go on airplane remains and do tricks of of that.If you play career mode you can get cash. With this money you can upgrade your skills and abilities as well as buy new equipment like some really cool skateboards.
There are 13 characters,I think they are well done in their body figures. You won't see any gliches are messed up features in any way, the characters seem good graphically. If you really want some real comparison, they kinda look like the people off of the computer game the SIMS. The clothes of the people for some reason all seem to have the same color pallet. They also have specialized tricks for certain characters. For example Tony Hawk is the only person who can do the skill known as the "900" and Kareem Campbell is the only person who can do the "Ghetto Bird Flip".
The music is ok. As usual the gameboy advance, simply does not do well in the sound department. The original Tony Hawk had some awesome music, it even had actual voices and lyrics. However you cannot find this in the Gameboy Advance because of its pathetic speakers, and music output.
Although it has been shrunk, you will not have the visual awe of flying through the air like on the playstation or N64. You will not hear the awesome lyrics of the original Tony Hawk. The controls are ok. I had less problems on this game then on the Playstation version. But it is quite hard to pull off the best tricks because of the way the Gameboy advance design.
