cspritchard's Full Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for Game Boy Advance (GBA...
I'm not a big player of Vidoe games, but my Husbnd and 7 year old son are. If I let them they would spend hours in front of the TV playing it.
When he first got Tony Hawk, he would literally spend 4+ hours playing it. And that lasted for months! Now that he's finally mastered it he can get through the whole game in an hour.
The graphics are great, you can choose your player, you can dress him in different clothes, choose his/her hair style, tattoos or no tattoos, shoes, etc. the game boards are great. Very realistic looking.
My 7 year old gets a kick out of designing his own parks, then letting his dad play on them to see how many point he can rack up :-)
Over all I would say that this is a pretty good game, it lets the average person (the one that always wanted to really skate, but couldn't) the oportunity to skate as a professional, and to do tricks that defy the laws of nature at the same time.
And it also is a great game for people like me that just want to play around a little bit. And I'm not even remotly interested in skateboarding.;-)
Now we have friends borrow it all the time, so its also good with trade value, If you are like us we have several friends that own playstations and we are always swapping games.
