I purchased this game because I wanted a good baseball game to play on my GBC, and this was the most recent one, with updated rosters. It comes with several modes: Home Run Derby, Season, Exhibition, Playoffs, All Star Game, and Batting Practice.
The graphics are pretty good for the game, and you can see exactly where the ball is located on the little map type display in the bottom left corner of the screen. The AI could be a little better for Home Run Derby, though. I was playing against the likes of Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa, and I was blowing them out of the water.
The batting practice option is a welcome addition to the game, as it lets you hone your skills as any batter against any pitcher. You can even play as many people from the Hall of Fame, such as Yogi Berra.
Overall, this is a good game for Game Boy. The Graphics are good, but not phenomenal, the AI could use some work in some spots. The sound is ok, and could use a lot of work in some places, too. (The crowd cheering after a home run sounds like the ocean surf.)
