After being burned on the slow, stupid gameplay of Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, I swore off of N64 boxing games. But then, I played Knockout Kings 2000 and I must say that this is the best boxing game I've played in years.

First off, you have classic boxers, like "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali, as well as boxers of today, like Evander Holifield. They even threw in Toughguy fighter Butterbean to liven things up emensly.
The gameplay is simple, and easy to master, so you can knock out the Greatest yourself. There is even the option of a one button mode, meaning that the "A" button will execute every punch. This one's good to start with, but I dove right into the normal button scheme and have been unable to stop playing it. This game just rocks!!
The new Create-A-Boxer option gives it an even spicier zing. You can make whoever you want, take them into the ring, and have at it. Creating a new boxer takes about two minutes, if even that. That means that there isn't a bordom factor to put into the equasion.
For those of you who loved the old NES game, "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!", there is even a camera mode for you. The classic over the shoulder camera is a must try. It really takes me back to when I'd try to play Punch-Out!, and I'd get my ass kicked ever singe time! My gameplay has goten much better now.
So, for those boxing fans out there, go out and but this game before it's too late. Even people who don't like boxing may like this game. I rarely watch boxing, but got sucked into this game quickly.
Overall, this one's at least a must own. I feel that you haven't lived until you've tried "Knockout Kings 2000." Trust me on this one. You'll thank me later.
