stussyasia's Full Review: Turok 2: Seeds of Evil for Nintendo 64
I played Turok 2 on a PC, so be advised that my criticism may not apply to the console version) If you have played Turok 1, be ware that the action in Turok 2 is much much slower: in the PC version there is no walk/run switch, so Turok just strolls around and cannot outrun his foes. A second major drawback are, indeed, the controls. Targeting is often difficult, changing weapon is slow, and properly setting your joystick troublesome. Third, creatures: too many mutated lizards, doing all the time the same thing (i.e. shooting you from a distance). Another minor flaw is the underwater darkness. If you want to see anything underwater, you must set the ingame brightness controls to 06 or 08 - then, once out of the water, everything will look whitish and flat.
