Okay, I'm not a soccer fan I'll tell you that right now, in fact, I doubt I've even watched one game on television, but World Cup '98 is a blast. For soccer fanatics or just your average sport gamer, this game will please everyone.
First off, the graphics are incredible. The players, stadiums, and the overall animation is amazing. The controls are smooth and innovative, and respond quickly and effectively.
There are five different modes to go at in World Cup '98. Obviously there's the world cup mode, and others like practice, your basic game, shootout, and the classic world cup from the last sixty years.
The best part of this game is when you hook up four controllers and start to play with your friends. Then the fun begins. The single player mode is very challenging, particularly on the world class mode, the computer players are smart an very tuff to beat.
If you own an Nintendo 64 you're in luck: you have one of the greatest sports games ever made at your fingertips. Hurry, and buy it today!
