mr685p1's Full Review: Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2: Open Season for Window...
I purchased Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2 because I love hunting. This was a way to hunt without getting cold, and hunting in places I would never get to go. This even has a safari hunt.
The game was easy to load and the directions are easy to follow. Once everything is set up you get the feeling you are really on whatever hunt you select. Several firearms are available as is archery and black powder equipment. Different levels of difficulty keeps the game exciting. You never outgrow new situations. Different kinds of gear are available for you to purchase, you have a set dollar amount in which to make those purchases. Everything from extra food to a compass is at your disposal. Each item you select comes in handy at one point or another during the hunt. A guide works with you throughout the hunt. He advises you as to where game may be located. You have a map of the region you're hunting with the travel time to each point. Weather comes into play and it could start to rain or snow during your hunt. Even time changes take place, you see it getting darker as the day wears on. If you shoot game you don't hold a tag for a game warden fines you. The only drawback I found was that the game could run a bit faster.
For the hunter who can't get out like he would want to, or the person interested in a game that holds excitement and challenge Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2 has it all, and at a very reasonable price. I recommend this game to anyone interested in a fun time.
