This game is superb, the graphics are top notch, the storyline is something to talk about, the sounds are realistic, and the flight models are very realistic, and may become future ships for all we know...
Graphics
The fighters are very realistically designed. The laser beams, are circular, and have a very nice colour. The damage effects are very nice smoke/fire starts comming out of the point where it was hit. The bombs/torpedo's show the blast radius as a huge blue ridgey circle. In the blast zone you get heavilly damaged.

Story Line (Kindof Revealing)
....The Shivan's are back....thats it....no just kidding....Well its been like 32 some odd years, and Shivan and GTVA technology has greatly expanded. You start off fighting against the NTF (NeoTerranFront) who are the rebels, and get to go into a nebula where you find the Shivans. The story ends in the Gama Draconis system I believe.

Sound
You feel like you are in the cockpit of the plane and the pilots are talking to you. The beam sounds are alerting. Once you hear a certains sound you know something is going to happen.

Controls
I use a Logitech Wingman (ForceFeedback Joystick) and the FFB is superb, directional hits are really good. Get hit on the right side and the joystick steers to the left. The keyboard commands are easy to remember. Its practically just the first letter of the command your thinking of.

Well thats my review. I hope you buy this game. It kicks ass. If you are low on memory beware its 3cd's.
