Squirrellz's Full Review: Half-Life: Opposing Force (Add on) for Windows
Half-Life is simply one of the best games that I have ever played in my whole life.
Graphics: Good graphics, texture size is a little small though. Characters move very nicely. The faces are also very detailed. Guns look cool and reload nicely.
Sound: Creepy sounds! Just like living through a horror movie. I wish that there was more music though. It only plays at key moments in the game.
AI: The enemies are fairly smart. They duck, run, hide behind things, get support. They aren’t extremely smart though. They aren’t no agents from ‘The Matrix.’
Multiplayer: It rules! There are tonnes of awesome MOD’s like Counter-Strike and TFC which is included in all of the new patches. The TF1.5 patch will also clear up some of the latency issues currently. I Recommend that after finishing the single player game, download Counter Strike immediately and play it!
Overall I really like the game. It also runs under Windows2000 which is also really nice. The game provides a truly unique experience which I have never had before in ANY game. After you finish the game, there are still months of online gaming because of the loads of MODS currently available and in development.
