Paragon930's Full Review: Game of Life for Windows
The Game Of Life was one of my favorite games as a child. And now even though I am not a child anymore, I am still a kid at heart. I saw the computer version of The Game of Life for sale in a computer store for only $19.99 and had to pick it up for myself, I just couldn't resist.
When I got the game home and installed it, me and some friends started to play. The first thing we noticed were the awesome graphics and bright coloring, it was very appealing to the eye.
Next thing that was cool about this game was the "car-cam" that lets you really feel like you are driving your pawn around the board.
The computer game featured all the fun things as the original game did, plus more. Every so often the decade changes, and with the decade change the style of car you drive and the background music changes to fit whatever decade it is that you are in at the moment. As you get to the later 90's/2000 the car even becomes a cool looking hovercraft.
Gameplay is very simple so little children can even play it without difficulty (the case says it's for ages 8 and up)... and best of all, no cleaning up little pieces!
There is also a feature on this game (I haven't tried it as of yet) that allows you to play The Game of Life on the internet. This could prove to be very cool if you have family or friends who don't live nearby and you want to have some fun playing a game with them.
The Game of Life is a fun game and is great for the whole family or even to play alone. It provides hours of fun and at under $20 you can't go wrong.
