ssgang99's Full Review: Tonka Construction for Windows, Mac
My wife and I purchased this game for the Christmas of '98 when we bought the computer. Since our youngest son was a dump truck nut, we figured that the purchase would be a sound investment.
The Tonka Construction Site is made to look like a true construction site with all safety regulations upheld, such as wearing hard hats. The child is allowed to manuever the dump trucks, as well as other site trucks around the screen to get the job done. This requires thinking and logic to be used on the part of the child playing the game.
Basically everytime the child puts the cd in to play the game he gets to start all over in a new manner, so it doesn't seem as though he is just replaying the same game over and over again.
We also purchased Tonka Garage at the same time and that cd also requires thinking and logic thoughout. It's been two years since we first purchased these two cd-roms and to him it never gets old.
