Armored's Full Review: Armored Core: Master of Arena for PlayStation 1
When i first saw Armored Core:Master of Arena, i told to myself "what? it still has the same graphics?" i really like playing the armored core series, its one of those addicting games on playstation, my friends and i would play Project Phantasma for hours just trying to prove whose ac's is the best. Now Master of arena is here, Ravens rejoice! though as i said the graphics is still the same, it retains the fun and addicting gameplay of the original series, controls still the same ( still no analog support), opening cg is cool, and LOTs of cool new add ons for your mech! The developer expand the coolest part of the previous title: the Arena and Vs. mode, there are 50 additional ac's to battle with, more arenas to choose from AND the coolest addition to these series is YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN ENEMY AC, save it to a memory card and lend it to a friend and see how he can do with your customize mech.
On the downside, if your playing multiplayer with no link up, its pretty limited experience due to its split screen and still on multiplyer game, player one's radar just dont work, you dont know where your opponent's location is (a bug? maybe) i only have one copy of this game so im not sure if this bug is included on all copy.
