Are you the best? Prove it! You are a pilot of a large robot with a large number of configurations. The missions you will have to complete are high variable; sometimes you will infiltrate bases. You will also have rescue hostages and destroy hostile enemies.
Armored Core: Master of Arena is third PlayStation game in the Armored Core series. Just like in the first two games, you are given a variety of weapons and support equipment that has various effects on game play and the player’s response to threats. Master of Arena isn't add-on like the second Armored Core, Project Phantasm. The environment is very similar; you still a gun for hire that is paid to perform various services and jobs. Eventually you have to fight significant opponents who threaten your life.
In addition to the previous equipment and parts available in the first two games, there are 27 new weapons and body parts. Yet, it is relatively easy customize to your fighter. You can also upload your fighters from any of the two previous Armored Core games.
This game, the third installment in the Armored Core series, by far the most challenging game of the series. Master of Arena allows fighting in various arenas. Compared to the previous games, there are at least 10 new arenas and 34 unique opponents who vary in difficulty. When you win the match, you awarded cash and/or parts. This game includes a replay feature that allows you to view the last battle from three different perspectives. You can view the battle from player one's view, player two's view or from a view that includes both players.
Just like in the other AC games, you also can fight other players in addition to the computer. You can either fight on a split screen using the same disk or you can connect two PlayStation consoles on the serial ports and then you can play your opponent on two different screens.
In summary, Armored Core 3 is a great game that provides hours of fun. You can create your own opponents with unique and bizarre fighting characteristics. If you like to push yourself to the limit, give this game a try and see how good you really are!
