I have collected and played all the fishing games for the playstation and Bass Landing gets the Gold. This is the ultimate of fishing games.The Tutorial mode is a step by step introduction guaranteed to make a pro out of beginners.One learns the techniques on all aspects of fishing. For example: Casting, type of lure to use under various lake conditions,learning to operate outboard and trolling motor,how to read a depth finder,the art of reeling and hooking a fish with hard and soft lures,rod control and bass ecology. You are tested on six (6) steps and must pass the test to proceed to the next step. Step seven (7) is the final exam in which you must successfully fish under various lake conditions.These steps are very challenging and I highly suggest taking notes. The free fishing mode offers four (4) lakes one can fish. This is a good time to put to practice what you have learned before going to the Tournament mode.Each lake has different variety of fish and is noted in the manual.One gets the option of setting the lake conditions to make fishing more successful. The tournament mode is also challenging and very exciting to play.You have a option screen which will enable the player to choose reels rods and lures before entering the tournament.I highly recommend this game for beginners,pros, teens and adults. The excitement of real fishing can be captured in your living room. This is the game that one will enjoy playing over and over again.Hook a lunker and your blood pleasure will rise.
