dmx0879's Full Review: Chrono Cross for PlayStation 1
When Chrono Trigger came out for the Super NES it was the only RPG that could really be compared to the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Well a few years later Square has decided to bring out the sequel to the amazing Chrono Trigger. The graphics of this game are amazing, the backgrounds even rival those found in Final Fantasy 8. They are beautifully rendered and the characters look great. As much as the story goes I can't really interpret it because I know little Japanese but as much as I know right now is that the story is different than the one found in Chrono Trigger. The battles are very unique too because you don't have to fight if you don't want too, except in boss battles. So you are not forced into fighting all the time like in Final Fantasy 8. The music in the game is top notch and matches the music found in Chrono Trigger. Since I am not far into the game, I hope that when I get farther and understand more of the story and other aspects of the game I will update this review, until then you'll just have to wait until the American version comes out. (And boy am I waiting for that excitedly)
