Calypso14's Full Review: Forsaken for PlayStation 1
This is one of my more favourite games for the playstation console. It has fair graphics with good crisp clear sound and a good arsenal of weapons. The characters are really unique and have their own strengths and weaknesses. The game gives you a readout of your shield strength and your hull strength that is really easy to read. The game has a few slow spots in it when you use too many pine mines or whatever. The visuals are really bright and colorful and the game has a lot of puzzle style things in it, like you have to destroy a certian thing to unlock a door in a different part of that level. The storyline is really cool, places you as a mercenary scouring the planet looking for treasure and fortune. this all happens after this massive explosion occurs. The beginning sequence is really cool and the entire game keeps you guessing as to what happens next. The analog sticks are a little difficult to master, but some of my freinds think they are better than using the D- Pad and having to do combo button presses to move your craft in different directions.
