And what a wonderful change it was. While some thought Blood Omen was a great, this sequel is so much better.
For those of you that love the Tomb Raider series I'm sure you will enjoy Soul Reaver:Legacy of Kain. This is done in a similar style to Tomb Raider, but with a little darker side.
I also think this is a decent choice for fans of horror games such as Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark. However, this is not a horror game. It's exactly like Tomb Raider, yet somehow, more fun to play.
And while it won't give you nightmares it's still a great story. How often do you get to play a soul stealing undead vampire killer anyway?
Beyond that, Soul Reaver is still one of the best games graphically out on the Playstation. If you do happen to have a Dreamcast you may want to try it on that instead since the Dreamcast version has better graphics.
If you love adventure games, you'll love Soul Reaver:Legacy of Kain.
And remember, don't confuse this with the original Blood Omen:Legacy of Kain, since it was a Role Playing Game!
