Sometimes we screw up, sometimes we just duck our head in shame

Product Rating:
Pros: 300+ teams
Cons: Bad graphics, bad gameplay, bad game.
The Bottom Line: Not worth your time. No replay value and bad graphics make for something that can easily be found in any other college game, only better.
Fugee1323's Full Review: NCAA Final Four 2001 for PlayStation 1
This game has to be one of the worst college basketball installments ever. Sega Genesis has at least 3 games better than this, most notable Coach K's College Basketball.
To sum up my feelings through categories:
Learning Curve : 4
It's an easy game to play, once you get the idea that shooting 3 pointers is easier than a dunk.
Graphics: 1
I don't know why they focused on stadium floor designes, and nothing on the horrible camera angles, player faces and size, or the crowd for that matter.
Replay Value: 2
Now, I'm guessing you want this game to play a full tournament. After that one tournament of 5 games or whatnot, I suggest trading this in or putting it in your collection of PS games that are unplayable, (right next to Alien Trilogy)
Sound: 3
I'll give them the average mark. The squeaks are fine, the announcer is not too annoying, and the team music is good.
Overall, I will give them the fact that they have 300+ schools in the game, and playing against friends with each of your colleges in there is a fun thing. Yet nothing can make up for good gameplay, and this lacks it from the menu.
