| akugel's Full Review: Road Rash 3D for PlayStation 1 |
Anyone who has owned a Genesis has played, at one time or another, Road Rash. There were three on the Genesis, one on Sega CD, and yet another on the forgotten 3DO. Then there was one on the Playstation that was pretty much the same as the digitized 3DO version.
I don't know about you, but by this time, I would be all roadrashed out. But, due to the sheer ignorance of video game designers, who I guess, forgot how many versions of this game they have already released to the public, on comes Road Rash 3-D.
Sure, the game is now 3-D. But now it seems a lot more boring. You don't seem to fight guys half as much as you do in the previous versions. Now, you do more driving. The graphics, although 3-D, were outdated when the game came out.
I mean, if you have never bought a Road Rash game and love to beat people up while atop motorcycles, then by all means, spend the 15 dollars and get this one, but if you're a seasoned veteren at the series, leave it on the shelf.
