revphu's Full Review: Saga Frontier 2 for PlayStation 1
This game had an incredible over-all outlook. I picked this game off the shelves at a rental store because I read the back and it said some pretty tempting things. The game offered an in depth battle system, huge story line, and multiple endings. Honestly it sounded very good. Then I looked at the company. Squaresoft! Well that made my decision for me. This was the only English squaresoft game that I hadn't played.
Then I played it. The story sounded interesting, including multiple storylines that I'm sure would weave an incredible plot. However, I didn't get very far into the story line. The battle bored me. It was the same thing over and over again. You choose which enemy to chop. The enemy chooses who it will attack. It happens. Do this about twenty times, and you win the battle. Walk twenty feet, turn a corner and do it again. The game was boring. From what I have read in the other reviews, this is a great game. It very well could be, but don't even bother with it unless you have a long long long attention span.
Oh, and don't bother with the first game. Saga Frontier was pathetic. Even the Saga Frontier fanatics don't like that game.
