Pros: Easy Use, Instructor, Like the Computer Game
Cons: Janitors never listen, Research is slow
The Bottom Line: If you like the computer game, you'll love this. It's almost identical. If you're a newbie, it can be a lot of fun... just watch out for the killers.
luvlylady511's Full Review: Sim Theme Park for PlayStation 1
Sim Theme Park was first available on computer, now it's a PlayStation game. I have personally played this game, and I must say that it is identical to the computer one, so if you loved Sim Theme Park when it was only software, you will love this game, however, if you've never played it before, there are some things you should know...
1. The janitors never ever listen to you. Your instructor (the little black ball, with arms, that tells you what to do) may advise you to set parameters for the janitors' patrol. This never works. Janitors go wherever they so desire.
2. If you don't jump on the mail opportunities to win more points or a golden ticket, they disappear.
3. One would think that an expensive roller coaster would turn a lot of profit. It doesn't. In all my experiences playing the game, theme park goers have never populated a roller coaster enough to make much of a profit.
4. Loans are deadly. If you end up needing one, it's nearly impossible to pay back.
