UnrealAlien's Full Review: Sim Theme Park for PlayStation 1
Sim Theme Park looked like a cool game 'till i played it.I found out that this was a total rip-off of Roller Coaster Tycoon for the PC, except the graphics were worse.Bullfrog, the developer should have taken more time to adjust, well pretty much the whole thing!In the booklet, it says that you can "ride" the rides.Well first you need the video camera, which isnt that hard to get.You can't actually ride them, it's more like sitting in them and looking forward,you go nowhere!I have to admit that the ride designs were OK.There is a little black Exclamation point that tells you what you should do, he gets really annoying.The game is stated as "Comic Mischief" which it is clearly not.And the biggest rip-off of all is that it takes up 5-whole blocks off of your $20 dollar memory card!It doesn't need that much.I'm not just saying how crappy it is because i hate it, im saying how crappy it is because...it's been done, there is barely any innovation.I was disappointed with EA, they have been goin' downhill ever since they developed 007:Tomorrow Never Dies for the Playstation.This game does have some cool stuff, like how much money you can rip off from the customers, the exclamation point keeps tellin' ya to raise the ticket price because the customers think that its too low!!
