tinasamuels's Full Review: Sim Theme Park for PlayStation 1
When I bought this game, at first I thought it would be a Maxis title, but was a Bullfrog title instead. Had I paid attention to that I would not have purchased it, being that it is practically identical to Theme Park. The only real difference between them is that this has Different parks and you earn tickets to get to the different setups. If you played Theme Hospital (another Bullfrog title) and you remember how you had to complete goals to get to the next hospital, it is alot like that.
You build the rides and the shows and you can go and fund the park any way you want. Lay a path to stroll around trees or have a packed desolate area of rides. Its all in your control. And with putting the Camcorder on you can ride your rides and see what your patrons see.
There is no information in the book that really helps you with the game, and i purchased a different guidebook for it that really cleared it up.I believe it was the Prima Guide to Sim Theme Park, or some similar title, and I recommend that if you like to do this game you look into getting the guide too.
This game is a great Simulation for all members of the family. Like I said just a little too similar to the old Theme Park when the title SimTheme Park made me hope for a Maxis game (Like The Sims, and Sim City)
