Pros: The graphics are very similar to the real cartoon of Tom and Jerry.
Cons: Very repetitive and can be very boring.
The Bottom Line: This game although has cute graphics quickly becomes repetitive and boring.

| caillin's Full Review: Tom and Jerry: House Trap for PlayStation 1 |
When I first played this game I was enthusiastic as to what type of gameplay this would entail. Hoping a fun platform game with a difference I was very disappointed. The entire game is based on chasing Tom (if your Jerry) or Jerry (if you are Tom in two player mode) around the house and hitting eachother. You can pick up objects such as fishbowls, umbrella's, broomsticks and even dynamite and throw them at eachother. As you progress through the levels more of the house becomes open to you. This however is the whole game. I quickly became very bored and felt I had been ripped off by the uninventive levels and simplicity. Possible YOUNG kids may enjoy this game but I do not see this as having any kind of lastability.
The only plus in this game is that the graphics are a good representation of the original cartoon.
