I bought Tony Hawks Pro Skater quite a while ago, and it is still my favorite game. I have not played a better skate boarding game yet. The different challenges for each level keep the game interesting and exciting. Plus if you need more of a challenge you can choose a different skater who is not quite as good as Tony.
I originally purchased Tony Hawk's Pro Skater after playing it at a friends house. I decided to spend the money and get the game because of the superb graphics and great tricks that it provided. After getting the game I was nicely surprised that it had much more than just great tricks and cool graphics. The challenges, as I mentioned before, were awesome. Some of them took me many many tries to accomplish.
If I had to recommend a skating game to anyone it would be Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. It is simply the BEST there is.
