Lobok's Full Review: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for PlayStation 1
THIS GAME ROCKS! Ever wanted to feel the rush of going off of a ramp and doing all of those killer skate boarder moves that you've only dreamed of?You can't. But with this game, you can at least try to do them in an environment where you can't break your bones, rip off your skin, or hurt yourself in other gruesome ways. You can even land Tony Hawk's famous move, the 900' rotation! Believe me, nothing if more satisfying than going off a quarter pipe, going 20 feet into the air, then spinning around 2 and a half times, and getting 8000 points. The only real bad spots are that you can't do the killer moves until you've gotten at least 2500 points off of a low level move, and to get better boards and advance to new levels, you have to get tapes(some of which you can't find key parts for, or have to get 50,000 points in 2 minutes). Overall, a great game.
