StratMan's Full Review: Um Jammer Lammy for PlayStation 1
This is the kind of game thats spawns when you give pregnant mothers cocaine. Its somewhat dismembered, really odd looking, and above all cool. These crack babies give you something to think about and do.
Gameplay:Although being horribly unrealistic, this game is kick a s s! Never before has there been a game in which the sole purpose is to play guitar. In the game, although there is not a whole lot of diversity, there sure is plenty of fun in jamming on the guitar. Then comes two player mode in which you can play dual guitars or play with PaRappa. Overall in gameplay this game is an 8/10.
Graphics:Obivously these guys didn't care about graphics. They have 2D like cardboard cut outs similair to those used in South Park. Although, the superb backgrounds add to the fun and to the acid like trip. Simply terrible graphics don't seem to matter much because the pure creativity is great.
Sound:This game is all about sound, including semi-accurate guitar notes and effects. The voices are also done very well and everything just seems to be accurate and well done. 10/10
Replay:Although there is not much to the game, the replay value is great because not only is it fun to play and discover new things, it's also a cheap undetectable way to drop acid! The multiplayer mode also adds to the fun in dueting with a friend. 9/10
Overall:Overall, this game is simply amazing in the weird graphics and sounds and the wacky gameplay. I recommend this game to anyone with a sense of humor and a love for music.
