malodon's Full Review: Wild Arms for PlayStation 1
Are you cuckoo over Wild Arms? Do you have urges to wake up at 2:00 in the morning and play it? This awful disorder is cause when you play Wild Arms. It is an obsession that will lead to lack of sleep, nightmares about evil killing you, and mostly just causes mass pandemona in your brain, because you are astounded at how few people like this game and because its so shocking to you how anyone couldn't like it.
Okay, so maybe I went a little overboard. But Wild Arms needs special attention, because it is such a stupendous game. (Man, I've already wrote 100 words and I haven't even gotten started yet.)
Here we go. Wild Arms is a good game. It has great graphics for its time. The sound is good, and the story is good. The character, espcially Jack (whom which my internet "name" is for).
The graphics, though sometimes ugly, can be pleasing. Though nothing the newest Final Fantasy, they are good for their time. The sound can make one cry sometimes. The story...now that's where things get good.
Rudy, Jack, and Cecilia are the three adventures. You never use any one else. They are good, cool characters and as far as RPG's go, kind of funny. The background(of the story) is hard to follow.
The many options is where it shines. You can be like me, and get seventeen levels and tons of items by hanging out at the ancient arena. I've spent 10 hours at the arena and about 3 hours messing with the colors. That's why I played 50 hours and not near the end. Their are so many items.
