Finally someone has done a 'Mech game right. Although in it's past few games, Final Fantasy VIII and IX, have been very dissapointing titles, Square has done almost nothing wrong with Xenogears. Yes, the graphics may be somewhat on the low end, but the story and gameplay are beautiful. Even the music (which not much game music is that great) was awesome. And the character design in this one was incredible. Lastly on features, the battle system must be the greatest I have ever seen. As you increase levels, you get more points to do combos and things, and you can choose different types of attacks other than just 'Fight' as in most other RPG's. The game is difficult at times, and other times easy, but overall it's a challenging game. It even has strategy elements.
